Floats

Les carrosses actuals

The Three Wise Men were fascinated by a very special star. It was a new light on the firmament. They were used to observe the stars and they knew the different forms that lived together on the sky, so they were concerned about that new phenomenon.

Melchior knew where exactly the sun rises every morning. Every dawn was a wonderful mixture of colours and light. When the sun set the spectacle was incredible.

Gaspar remembered each star that he had discovered during his life. He drew constellations and gave them names.

Balthazar spent whole nights observing the stars. Every night he looked amazed at the moon and its changing lights and shadows.

The Three Wise Men were enterprising wises who were willing to know what that light meant. They began a journey following the star's movement, each one from their own home country. As they observed nature, they have always felt their hearts full of satisfaction and joy, despite its hidden mysteries.

When they arrived to Bethlehem they realized that the whole magnanimity of the universe was in the stable a newborn baby.

So it is normal that at the Three Wise Men night we all feel the same hope and joy that they felt when, after following a star, they found God.

Their admiration for nature and their research of the mysteries of the universe are motifs of the decoration of the floats. The shining star guides the three of them. The sun, the moon and the planets are the wonders of creation that brought them to wisdom.
